So I tried to start writing this yesterday but evidently it turned out to be more difficult than I thought...who would've thunk it?

Anyways, my name's Chris and I want this blog to be a written representation of 2014 for me and I hope it ends up being an interesting, humorous read...for me and anyone else that might stumble upon this site! Whilst I hope this does entertain the masses realistically this is just a way to force me to document and make the most of 2014 - I'm 35 now and I reckon whilst I've done some pretty cool things in my time, I'm pretty sure that despite what me and most of my friends were saying on NYE, I don't believe I'm all old and boring...not just yet at least!

Today is Jan 2 and Uncle Phil died today...not Dr Phil as I thought originally! Man, the fresh prince of bel air was one of those tv shows growing up that was a not-miss, non negotiable for me...I used to race home from school to watch that show, hoping one day to be as fresh as the prince but probably ended up closer to Carlton than Will (at least in the dancing stakes!). 65 years old is still way too soon in my books...RIP James Avery aka Phillip Banks and the voice of Shredder on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
